Health at the Margins: Medical Challenges in Rohingya Refugee Camps

Join us for an eye-opening evening exploring the intersection of global health, humanitarian aid, and clinical medicine. We’ll begin with a documentary screening highlighting the lived experiences of Rohingya refugees and the public-health crises within displacement camps.
Afterward, participants will break into interactive case groups to tackle real-world medical scenarios drawn from conditions in refugee settings. Working with limited resources, each group will develop a treatment and management plan using only what is available within camp conditions.

This event will challenge you to think critically about medicine beyond the hospital walls, address ethical dilemmas in care delivery, and collaborate with peers in a hands-on global health simulation.
